Agitators, Philosophers and All-Around Troublemakers

"The times, they are a changin'..." but not fast enough for some!

The Runaway Serf specializes in sites devoted to organizations and groups fostering creative, unconventional changes to our society -- from people who think "out of the box" of the typical left-right dichotomy which currently maintains a stranglehold on political discourse, to organizations that believe if you change the popular culture you can change the political culture.

Because our clients' politics are creative and unconventional, their websites also must be unique. Our sites are designed to go beyond the stuffy, preachy, didactic "newspaper" look -- black text on a white background -- favored by more conventional sites. After all, we can't afford to live in a "black and white" world anymore!

Armageddon Buffet

Armageddon Buffet's mission is simple: "Our purpose is to wield the Word -- to oppose oppression disguised as religion, power disguised as patriotism, injustice disguised as law, and commerce disguised as art."

The online-only journal publishes original Armageddon-themed speculative fiction, social satire, and cyberpunk; future fantasies, alternate histories, and apocalyptic visions; surrealism, naturalism, and literotica; well-researched and considered political, philosophical, and cultural commentary; true tales of successful activism, rebellion, and opposition; positive alternatives and survival strategies. They also search out and link to other Armageddon-themed sites/articles.

Editor Stephen W. Potts and online editor "Runaway Serfer" envisioned an edgy, unconventional, "irreverent" look in keeping with the theme of "desperate times" and "desperate people." Thus, we broke the internet's "rule" against using flashy, in-your-face blinking neon gifs.
